One of only 10 Indiana-based companies to be included among the list of 500

Forbes recently announced the results of a survey conducted in partnership with market research firm Statista, which recognized 1st Source Bank as one of the top mid-size employers in the country. More than 50,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees were surveyed. 1st Source Bank ranked 223 overall (out of 500 companies) and was one of only 10 Indiana-based companies to make the list.

According to the Forbes article on the rankings, participants were asked to rate, on a scale of zero to 10, their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. They were also asked to nominate organizations other than their own, and to list companies they would not recommend. The list includes the 500 companies that received the most recommendations.
