May 9 – Star Wars Night:
May the Force be with the Cubs as they turn Four Winds Field into a galaxy of baseball fun. Area Star Wars costume groups, including the 501st Legion, will be on hand, and the team will suit up in Mandalorian & Grogu-inspired jerseys that are cooler than carbonite. Come ready for out-of-this-world photo ops, themed fun, and a night that’s bound to feel strong with the Force.

May 31 – Daniel Palencia Bobblehead Night presented by 1st Source Bank:
Be one of the first 1,000 fans through the gates and snag this special Daniel Palencia bobblehead. It is the kind of giveaway that deserves an early arrival, a fast walk, and maybe a little good-natured elbowing with your fellow collectors. If you love prospect hype and free stuff, this is your night.

July 18 – Harry Potter Night:
Wands up, South Bend. Harry Potter Night is bringing a little magic to Four Winds Field with a special ticket package featuring a co-branded Hogwarts™ house scarf. The Cubs will also wear Harry Potter 25th Anniversary jerseys that will be auctioned off, making this a spellbinding night for witches, wizards, and Muggles who just came for the baseball.

August 8 – SpongeBob SquarePants Day:

The Cubs will also wear SpongeBob themed jerseys that will be auctioned off. It is silly, sunny, and delightfully nautical, even if nobody is quite sure how Bikini Bottom got all the way to South Bend.

Additional Highlights with Specific Dates

April 4 – Autism Awareness Day:
Going to a game is exciting. The crowd, the lights, and all the in-game fun can make the ballpark feel electric. But for some guests, it can also be a lot to take in. This day promotes awareness, kindness, and understanding for those living with autism while helping create a more welcoming experience for everyone.

May 5 – Taco & Margarita Fiesta:
Cinco de Mayo at the ballpark? Yes, please. This fiesta brings together baseball, a two-hour all-you-can-eat taco buffet, and margarita samples for a celebration that’s equal parts tasty and festive. Better yet, the Cubs will take the field as Los Cabritos Maldichos, adding even more flavor to one of the most fun nights on the calendar.

May 30 & 31 – Military Appreciation Weekend:
We are proud to honor the men and women who have served our country during Military Appreciation Weekend. Saturday’s game includes the annual Wreath Laying Ceremony to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, and active-duty military members and veterans will receive two complimentary tickets. It is a meaningful weekend of gratitude, remembrance, and community.

June 10 – Teacher Appreciation Night:
School’s out, and it’s time to celebrate the people who make a difference all year long. Teachers, administrators, and school support staff can receive two free tickets to the game, then stick around for a special weekday post-game fireworks show. Consider it a well-earned summer kickoff for the real MVPs of the classroom.

June 24 – Princess Night:
Step into a storybook night at Four Winds Field, where princes and princesses of all ages can enjoy a little extra magic. Special activities, themed fun, and royal photo opportunities help turn an ordinary game night into a fairy-tale adventure. Tiaras are optional, but strongly encouraged.

August 20 – Pro Wrestling Night II:
Listen up, jabronis, because Four Winds Field is ready for another main event. WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce headlines the evening with a special VIP meet and greet package, while Revolution Championship Wrestling brings the action before and after the game. It’s loud, it’s over the top, and it absolutely understands the assignment.

August 22 – Zooperstars! Night:
If your ideal baseball game includes outrageous inflatable mascots, glorious nonsense, and at least one moment where you ask, “Wait, what am I looking at?” this is your night. Zooperstars! turns the ballpark into a full-blown comedy show with over-the-top characters, goofy in-between-inning antics, and the kind of chaos that makes minor league baseball wonderful.

Home Runs and Heart: Inside the Legends and Legacy of the South Bend Cubs

For us South Bend locals, the South Bend Cubs aren't just a baseball team – they're a part of our community's fabric. Let's take a stroll down memory lane and celebrate the rich history of our beloved team.

Our Roots and Affiliation:
Back in '88, South Bend was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed our very own Midwest League franchise. We cheered on proudly as they sported the White Sox colors, and later, as the Silver Hawks, paying homage to our city's automotive heritage. And when they joined forces with the Cubs in 2015, it felt like a homecoming – a nod to our deep ties with Chicago and a new chapter in our baseball journey.

Home Field Pride:
Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium isn't just a ballpark – it's our second home. Named after the legendary Stanley Coveleski, it's where we've laughed, cried, and celebrated countless victories. From the crack of the bat to the roar of the crowd, every game is a reminder of the bond we share with our team and our city.

Ownership and Community Commitment:
We've witnessed firsthand the dedication of Andrew T. Berlin, whose passion for our team and our city shines through his investments in the stadium and surrounding areas. The addition of The Ivy at Berlin Place not only enhanced our skyline but also symbolized Berlin's unwavering commitment to South Bend.

Triumphs on the Diamond:
Through highs and lows, our South Bend Cubs have always made us proud. From clinching championships to overcoming adversity, they embody the grit and spirit of our community. And when they brought home the Midwest League Championship in 2022, it was more than just a victory – it was a testament to our resilience and unwavering support.

Awards and Accolades:
We've watched with pride as our team earned recognition on the national stage. From setting attendance records to winning the John H. Johnson President's Award, the South Bend Cubs continue to shine as a beacon of excellence in the Minor League Baseball community.

Mascots and Memories:
Who could forget the antics of Stu D. Baker and Swoop the Silverhawk? They're more than just mascots – they're a reminder of the joy and camaraderie that comes with being a South Bend Cubs fan.

As we reflect on the journey of our South Bend Cubs, one thing remains clear – they're not just a team; they're a symbol of our city's spirit and resilience. So here's to many more years of cheering them on, through thick and thin. Go Cubs Go!
