South Bend, Ind. (September 6, 2023) – 1st Source Bank is pleased to announce Chris Lee has been promoted to President of the Specialty Finance Group Aviation Finance Division as David Hudak enters retirement on September 30, 2023.

Mr. Lee brings an extensive aviation background to his new role including international and domestic experience that began in 1998 at Cessna Finance Corporation. He later joined SkyVenture International as their Global Vice President of Sales. In July 2020, Mr. Lee joined the 1st Source Bank Aviation team as Relationship Sales Officer/Vice President based in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Lee is an active aircraft owner and is a Commercial Pilot with instrument, multi-engine, land and sea ratings, and holds multiple jet type ratings. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Friends University. Mr. Lee is also a graduate of the Textron University Global Marketing Leadership Program at The Ohio State University, International Finance studies at Richmond, The American International University in London.

Mr. Lee has been active in Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, and currently volunteers on the board of LightHawk, an international pilot conservation group.
