Six Simultaneous Ribbon Cuttings at 1st Source Bank

Fort Wayne, IN –1st Source Bank celebrated the first stage of an $8 million investment in Fort Wayne with the October 10 grand reopening of six remodeled banking centers. The grand reopening festivities included six simultaneous ribbon cuttings.
The celebrations marked the completion of extensive remodeling at all six Fort Wayne 1st Source Banking Centers and the introduction of Side by Side banking, in which traditional teller windows were replaced to allow bankers to work side-by-side with clients.
“1st Source is committed to Fort Wayne and we’re pleased to make this major investment to enhance the personal service we provide to our clients,” said Larry Mayers, 1st Source Fort Wayne Region President. “With Side by Side Banking, bankers work right beside their clients, sharing their workspace, screens and banking know-how to provide a clear view of the client’s finances.”
Chris Murphy, 1st Source chairman and CEO, joined Mayers in leading the ribbon cutting at the main event at the 1st Source Downtown Fort Wayne Banking Center. They were joined by Mark Becker, CEO of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. and City Councilman Geoff Paddock. City Councilmen Russ Jehl and Mitch Harper participated in ribbon cuttings at other locations along with ambassadors from Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.
1st Source also presented $1,000 donations to local not-for-profit organizations at each ribbon cutting celebration.
