1st Source to Donate $500 Each to 53 Charities in Give Local Campaign

South Bend, IN – 1st Source Bank will donate $500 to each of the 53 charities in the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County’s Give Local campaign. The donations will be made on May 5 during the 24-hour giving event.
“1st Source is pleased to make a contribution to all 53 charities in the Give Local campaign,” said Jim Seitz, 1st Source President. “We recognize the impact these organizations have on our community and we are glad to make a contribution that will help them now and in the future.”
Give Local St. Joseph County is a one-day giving event hosted by the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County. Every dollar donated on May 5 will be increased by a share of an estimated $3 million in matching funds provided by generous Give Local St. Joseph County sponsors, with the goal of raising a total of $5 million. 53 nonprofit organizations are participating and the public can make contributions online, via phone, or at special locations.
