Kalamazoo, MI – 1st Source Bank has promoted Lanny Scoby to the position of City President in Kalamazoo.
Scoby has been with 1st Source in Kalamazoo for eight years and he has more than 25 years of banking experience overall in southwest Michigan.
“We’re excited to have Lanny in charge of our Kalamazoo market,” said Larry Mayers, 1st Source Regional President. “With his wealth of banking experience and his involvement in the community, Lanny was the perfect person for this position.”
Scoby received a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and he has completed post graduate courses at the Robert Perry School of Banking at Central Michigan University as well as the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
Scoby is active in the community with the United Way and STRIVE, a mentoring program for middle and high school students. Lanny and his wife Karen live in Kalamazoo and have two grown sons, Landon and Steven.
