1st Source Donates Home to Habitat for Humanity of Porter County

Valparaiso, IN –1st Source Bank has donated a home, located at 403 Indiana Avenue in Valparaiso, to Habitat for Humanity of Porter County to provide affordable housing for a local family.
Bob Ax, 1st Source Regional President, presented the home and keys on Thursday to Habitat President Tom Barnett and Executive Director Brian Johnson. Elizabeth Allen, 10 Year Plan Coordinator for the Porter County Coalition for Affordable Housing, also attended the presentation.
“1st Source is pleased to donate this home to Habitat for Humanity of Porter County to ensure a local family has a place to call home,” said Ax. “We’re glad to partner with Habitat to provide more affordable housing in our community.”
