1st Source Donates $25,000 to St. Joseph Public School Foundation

St. Joseph, MI – 1st Source has donated $25,000 to the St. Joseph Public School Foundation in support of the Read 180 program.
Scott Geik, 1st Source Business Banker, presented the donation to Bill Marohn, President of the St. Joseph Public School Foundation, and Ann Cardon, St. Joseph Public Schools Superintendent. Also attending were Jim Welch, 1st Source Personal Trust Administrator, and Kim Richardson, 1st Source Banking Center Manager.

Read 180 is a program for students who need additional support to improve reading skills. The program addresses the needs of students struggling with the rigor of Common Core and also ensures teachers are equipped with an appropriate system of support.
