1st Source Bank Donates $5,000 to Bishop Dwenger High School

Fort Wayne, IN – 1st Source Bank has donated $5,000 to Bishop Dwenger High School and helped raise $10,079 in total through a matching campaign it developed for students to raise funds for the school’s capital campaign.
To encourage donations, 1st Source pledged to match student donations up to $5,000. The bank also provided coin banks to the students to ease the collection of funds and awarded prizes to classrooms based on participation.
“1st Source was pleased to contribute $5,000 and partner with Bishop Dwenger on this fundraising campaign,” said Larry Mayers, 1st Source Regional President. “It was wonderful to get students involved and demonstrate that every gift matters, regardless of the amount.”
“We have been so blessed, by so many people, throughout our Golden Traditions Capital Campaign,” said Jason Schiffli, Principal of Bishop Dwenger. “Truly, it is heartwarming to see so many committed to the good work that we do at Bishop Dwenger High School.  We are grateful for our partnership with 1st Source Bank.”
