Niles, MI – Carri Harrington, 1st Source Niles Banking Center Manager, recently presented Chickie Landgraf, Niles DDA Main Street Chair, with a $1,000 donation.
1st Source made the donation on Harrington’s behalf as a winner of the bank’s Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award. Harrington was recognized for her commitment and volunteer leadership to local organizations, including the Niles DDA, of which she serves on the Board of Directors.
“I am grateful to 1st Source for providing this donation to Niles DDA,” said Harrington. “The Niles Main Street Program has done so many things to benefit our community, including attracting new businesses, replacing old downtown facades and offering technology grants. The list is endless and we’re not stopping there.”
The $1,000 donation is earmarked to help pay for a marketing and promotions campaign related to Niles' recent recognition as the Best Main Street in Michigan.
