1st Source Bank Dedicates Building Site of Future Banking Center in Warsaw

Warsaw, IN - 1st Source Bank officials and community leaders joined together Wednesday, May 25 to dedicate the building site of the bank’s future office at 325 S. Lake Street in downtown Warsaw.

1st Source Warsaw City President Doug Baumgardner was joined at the ceremony by the bank’s East Region President Bill Burton, Vice President and Trust Officer John Elliott and Kristina Alvarado, who will manage the new banking center. Also attending were Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer, Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation President George Robertson and Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Rob Parker.

“1st Source Bank is excited to strengthen its presence in downtown Warsaw with this expanded office that will include many innovative features,” said Baumgardner. “From side-by-side banking to the coffee station and community conference room, this new office is going to provide a whole new banking experience to Warsaw.”

The new office will feature a full-service banking center with the bank’s innovative side-by-side banking experience, in which bankers are beside clients instead of behind a teller line, sharing their workspace, computer screen and up-to-the-minute financial data. The new banking center also features a 24-hour ATM, drive-thru, coffee station, children’s area and a customer convenience center with a computer and iPad, fax machine and shredder. The second floor of the building will house the bank’s trust administration and wealth management offices and the lower level will include a conference room that will be available for use by community organizations.

The new larger office will replace 1st Source’s current downtown location at 120 South Lake Street.
