1st Source Bank Awards $24,000 Grant to LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School
Lakeville, IN – 1st Source Bank has awarded a $24,000 grant
to LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School for further implementation of Project Lead the
Way programming. The funds allow the high school to expand its STEM engineering
courses to additional students.
1st Source Business Banker Ken Carbiener, a 1983 LaVille
graduate, presented the donation to LaVille students Kathryn Harville, Erik
Eggebrecht, Ben Doody, Allison Gadacz and Project Lead the Way Instructors Jeff
Banks and Ramon Gonzalez.

implementing the Project Lead the Way STEM programming,” said Carbiener. “These
courses will certainly help students prepare for a wider range of careers, which
will also benefit our local economy.”
