1st Source Announces South Bend and Elkhart Winners of the 2015 Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award

South Bend, IN – 1st Source Bank announces the winners of the 17th annual Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award. Eleven community volunteers who are employees of 1st Source business clients were selected for embodying the spirit, values, energy and leadership of Ernestine M. Raclin, past Chairman of 1st Source Bank and 1st Source Corporation.
 
1st Source Bank honors this year’s award recipients for their outstanding leadership in the community. Recipients from the South Bend and Elkhart area include:
 
Pat Flynn, Vice President of Customer/Community Relations with Indiana Beverage Pat has served on countless boards over the years including the Alcohol and Addiction Resource Center, the St. Vincent DePaul Society and the Studebaker National Museum. He has also raised thousands of dollars for organizations like the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA.
 
Dan Morrison, co-CEO of Heritage Financial GroupDan has improved lives in Elkhart County through his leadership with the Boys & Girls Club, Beacon Health Systems, the Center for Hospice, the United Way of Elkhart County and several other local organizations.
 
Don Phillips, President/CEO of Bashor Children’s Home Don is recognized for his leadership role in organizing the Partnership for Children, a collaboration of 12 nonprofit organizations that has developed and implemented a county-wide program to assist children in need of services in Elkhart County.
 
Benito Salazar, Accounts Manager of Steel Warehouse Benito has impacted the lives of many youth over the years through his leadership with LaCasa de Amistad, which he helped establish 40 years ago. He has also mentored children as a Boy Scouts Troop Leader and Board Member.

Winners received a personal cash award, donation to the charity of their choice and a Globe of Leadership.
