South Bend, IN – 1st Source Bank announces the promotions of Tina Herron Smith, Jen Klein, Sherry Martinkowski, Andrea Morton, Lisa Pesaresi and Cheryl Scarberry.
Tina Herron Smith has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Tina is an Investment Officer at the bank and has direct responsibility for the central region’s public fund accounts. Tina graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a B.A. in Economics. She has also obtained her Municipal Principal certification and completed the Graduate School of Banking. Tina is a graduate of the Leadership South Bend/Mishawaka program and has been active with Prevent Child Abuse of St. Joseph County and the Hansel Neighborhood Service Center.
Jen Klein has been promoted to Officer. Jen has worked in marketing at 1st Source for ten years and is currently a Marketing Analyst. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. She has also earned an MBA from Indiana University South Bend.
Sherry Martinkowski has been promoted to Vice President at the bank. She has more than 40 years of experience in banking and currently is a manager in the Loan Accounting Department. Sherry graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a Bachelor’s Degree and has completed the Graduate School of Banking. She has participated in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl-A-Thon and the American Heart Association and March of Dimes annual fundraising drives.
Andrea Morton has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Andrea has 18 years of experience at the bank and is currently a client service specialist and senior lender for the bank’s central region. Andrea is a board member of the Mishawaka Business Association and a past ’40 under 40’ award recipient by the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce.
Lisa Pesaresi has been promoted to Vice President. Lisa has been the bank’s Assistant Controller for five years and will assume the position of Controller in January. In her new role she will be responsible for providing effective internal financial controls and performance management of 24 employees in the Accounting Division.
Cheryl Scarberry has been promoted to Officer. Cheryl has nearly 30 years of experience at the bank and is currently the Operations Manager at the 1st Source Plymouth Banking Center. Cheryl is active with Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County and Marshall County Triad. She is also a board member of the Marshall County Senior Expo and has been a Speech Class Assistant at LaVille School.
