With 1st Source Mobile Deposit, you can safely deposit checks as soon as you receive them – no more carrying valuable checks around town in your pocket or purse. The check information you provide is securely encrypted. No check photos, personal or financial information is stored on your mobile device.
What you need for Mobile Deposit:
Make sure you have the 1st Source Mobile Banking App on either an Apple device (iPhone® or iPad®) or an Android™ smartphone capable of taking a photo.
How to get started with Mobile Deposit:
- New Mobile Banking users can get started by downloading the Mobile Banking App.
- Existing Mobile Banking users will access the update on their smartphone or mobile device to gain access to Mobile Deposit.
- Log in to the Mobile Banking App and choose 'Deposit Checks.'
- Read and Accept the Mobile Deposit Terms and Conditions.
- Then just follow the prompts.
1st Source Mobile Deposit is compatible with Apple devices that are running iOS 6 and above. iPhone® (3GS/4/4S/5/5S/6/6 Plus) and iPad®. Compatible with Android™ phone types running OS 2.3.3 or higher.

1st Source Bank does not charge a fee for items deposited via Mobile Deposit into consumer checking or savings accounts. However, there is a $1.00 fee for each check deposited into a business checking or business savings account. Your mobile provider may charge for airtime, roaming, data usage and minutes.
