Meet the Kalamazoo/Portage Area Banking Team
With more than 30 years of community banking experience, Lanny is a relationship-focused banker who enjoys sharing his knowledge about financial services and strategies that help clients reach their financial goals. In addition to his background in community banking, Lanny served in many management and committee functions before taking on his role as City President.
Lanny's community involvement includes serving on the boards of Junior Achievement, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and United Way, in addition to his passion for coaching youth baseball, basketball and football.
Kalamazoo Downtown Banking Center
Tara is a lifelong area resident with more than 13 years of experience in retail banking. Her client-centered approach to banking made her an obvious choice for manager when the doors first opened to our Kalamazoo Downtown banking center in 2015. She and her team truly understand their clients’ financial needs and recommend the best solutions to meet them.
Tara is also active in the community a member of the Rotary Club of Kalamazoo and serves as treasurer for Delton Kellogg Little League.
Centre Avenue Banking Center
Eric knows Portage. He grew up here and is proud to serve clients in his hometown. That's a big reason why he was chosen to lead the team when the Centre Avenue banking center opened in 2014.
Eric makes his clients feel welcome, and no one leaves without a heartfelt "thank you." He takes the time to answer questions to make sure clients know their financial options.
Eric is a member of the Rotary Club of Portage, and works with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the American Red Cross and Portage Community Center.
Wealth Advisory Services
Mike brings more than 30 years of experience to his role as Trust Officer for 1st Source Wealth Advisory Services. He provides investment management and trust services, estate planning/administration, real estate management and financial planning. to our clients in the Kalamazoo County area.
Mike has a strong history of community involvement, including serving on the boards of directors for both Parent to Parent of Southwest Michigan and the Dismas House of South Bend. He also works with the Calhoun and St. Joseph County Estate Planning Councils, and satisfies his lifelong passion for for the study of history as a member of the History Department's Advisory Council at Western Michigan University.
