Get a jump start on planning and paying for college
If you or someone you know is planning to go to college then you should check out Indiana's 'Cash for College' website. It's full of tips and free resources for K-12 students, current college students and returning adult students.
"Indiana has one of the most generous needs-based financial aid systems in the country, but every year thousands of Hoosiers miss out by failing to file the FAFSA by Indiana's March 10th deadline," said Teresa Lubbers, Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education. Indiana's 'Cash for College' site gets families the resources they need to make college a reality.
The site includes an Indiana College Costs Estimator which offers side-by-side comparisons of how much students should expect to pay out-of-pocket at each Indiana college once various sources of financial aid are applied. Details on local scholarship opportunities are also available.
