1st Source Recognizes Create-A-Bookmark Contest Winners

1st Source partnered with the Westchester Public Library on its first annual Create-A-Bookmark Contest.

The contest is open to all kids in grades one through twelve. It encourages kids to read a book and then design a bookmark inspired by the book. The bookmark design could tell about the story or characters from the book, or whatever makes the book special and magical to them.

Phil Baugher, Director of the Westchester Library noted, “We are looking forward to holding this fun competition every year. The spirit and imagination was wonderful.”

The first place winners were awarded a $50 U.S. Savings Bond and a colorful copy of their bookmark. Second and third place winners received a small gift and a bright copy of their bookmark.
