1st Source has presented the Community Hospital of Bremen with a $25,000 donation toward the hospital’s recent digital mammography upgrade.
Ron Zeltwanger, 1st Source Regional President, presented the donation to Lon Kipfer, Director of Development at the Community Hospital of Bremen. Also attending the check presentation were Lisa Burch, 1st Source Bremen
Banking Center Manager, Rene Burton, 1st Source Relationship Manager, Debbie Kipfer, CFO of the Community Hospital of Bremen and Scott Graybill, CEO of the hospital.
“1st Source recognizes the benefit of having digital mammography equipment here at the Community Hospital of Bremen and we’re glad to make this donation,” said Zeltwanger.
Since purchasing the digital mammography equipment in 2009, the hospital has performed more than 1100 mammography exams per year. The equipment was a major purchase for the hospital and was made possible with the support of 1st Source Bank and other contributors.
“I’d like to thank 1st Source Bank for their support and assistance with the digital mammography equipment,” said Lon Kipfer. “This equipment has benefited hundreds of women in our community and in the surrounding area.”
1st Source is a strong supporter of the Community Hospital of Bremen, having made other donations in past years.
