1st Source participates in Rebuilding Together in South Bend

Patching, painting, cleaning and yard work - just a few of the tasks completed by a tremendous group of 1st Source volunteers as a part of Rebuilding Together. More than 30 volunteers came out this year to donate their time and skills to make needed repairs to a home sponsored by 1st Source Bank.
Just how much can a 1st Source team tackle in one day? Not only did they paint the house, garage and breeze way with two coats of green paint and also white trim, they also scraped and painted the entire foundation, painted the shutters and even painted the nearby fire hydrant green and white at the homeowner's request in celebration of Washington High School.
And don't forget the inside of the home, where the team patched and painted the living room, painted two bedrooms and a hallway and even the ceilings too. They didn't stop there - the kitchen and bathroom were given a serious spring cleaning and grab bars were even installed in the tub. The volunteers had a lot of fun too and enjoyed the best part - seeing the homeowner with a big smile on his face at the end of the day.
