1st Source named Small Business Advocate of the Year

1st Source was named the Small Business Advocate of the Year by the Cornerstone Alliance. Kim Richardson, 1st Source Banking Center Manager, accepted the award at the annual ceremony presented by the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce and Cornerstone Alliance.
 
1st Source Bank was recognized as being a catalyst for the Promoting Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs (POWER) program that the Women's Business Center launched in 2013. POWER, an 11-week program, focuses on developing the talent of female entrepreneurs and women-owned small businesses through education, business training and mentor services.
 
1st Source serves as the lead lender for qualified POWER graduates, offering access to money used to launch or grow start-up businesses. Since POWER began, 1st Source has made $30,000 in loans contributing to $85,000 of total investments.
