1st Source Bank has donated $50,000 to the School of Inquiry, a New Tech program at Plymouth High School. The $50,000 donation will fund professional development opportunities for teachers at the School of Inquiry, including teacher training, fees for a New Tech School Coach, expenses for teachers to shadow train at another New Tech school in Indiana and more.

Connie Lemler, 1st Source Regional President, presented the donation to Daniel Tyree, Superintendent of the Plymouth Community School Corporation, along with Jay King, Manager of the 1st Source Plymouth Banking Center and Joe Hunting, 1st Source Business Banker. Hunting also serves as a member of the School of Inquiry’s Advisory Board.

“1st Source recognizes that teachers are critical to making the New Tech model work for the benefit of students,” said Lemler. “We’re pleased to be a part of this exciting time for Plymouth High School.”
