1st Source Bank announces the Promotion of Luis Zapata
South Bend, IN - 1st Source Bank announces the promotion of Luis Zapata to Vice President. Zapata is the Bank’s Financial Wellness Administrator with responsibilities for promoting financial wellness to individuals and groups within the community.
Zapata received an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Tecnologico De Monterrey in Mexico. He is active in the community with Bridges out of Poverty, the Latino Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement and Christ the King and St. Adalbert Catholic Parishes.
Zapata is a 2016 “Forty under 40” honoree by the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce. He also is a past recipient of the 1st Source Bank Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award in recognition of his volunteer leadership, and of the South Bend Human Rights Commission Human Rights Service Award, for his contributions in the field of education.
