Text Banking Quick Start Guide
Enrolling for Text Banking
- Log into your Online Banking account using your PC and click the "Mobile Banking & Alerts" tab
- Withing the "Alerts and Notifications" box, type in your mobile phone number in the box below "Text message alerts are sent to".
- When a valid mobile phone has been entered, click the "Activate" button below.
- On the next screen you will receive see the Step Up box requesting your activation code. (If you do not receive a text, you can click on the "Send it again" link.)
- You will receive a text a text message from 454545. Enter that code into the Set Up box on your PC. Then click on the "Verify" Button. (If your phone number is not correct, click the "Cancel" button.)
- You will receive a text message confirming your activation is successful. You may now begin using text banking.
- For a list of available Text Banking commands text HELP to 454545.
Set Primary Account & Transfer To Account
- On the Mobile Banking & Alerts screen, you will see the Text Messaging Banking box. At the bottom of that box, you will see the default Primary Account and Transfer Account.
- Click the "Update" button to change one or both accounts.
- In the pop-up window, select the account I use most is in the bottom-left list box to change your Primary Account.
- In the pop-up window, select when low, transfer money from in the bottom-right list box to change your Transfer To account.
- Click Done when complete.
Request a Balance
- To view your primary account's balance text BAL to 454545
- To view all of your account balances BAL ALL to 454545.
- To view all of your checking account balances BAL CHK to 454545.
- To view all of your saving account balances BAL SAV to 454545.
View Transaction History
- To view your last 5 transactions on your primary account text LAST to 454545
- You see the last transactions on any other account, you must log into Online Banking and switch the primary checking account.
Transfer Funds
- Text TRAN {amount to transfer) to 454545 (i.e. TRAN 200).
- Receive text message with confirmation that the transferred was successful.
Stop Text Banking
