Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each customer who opens an account.

How does this affect you? For new personal banking customers, we will ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. We will request your legal name, date of birth, physical address, and tax identification number for all customers on the account.

When a new business customer opens an account at 1st Source, we will ask for your legal name, physical address, tax identification number, and other information that will allow us to identify our new customer.
