Income Equity Fund
The Monogram Income Equity Fund (FMIEX) invests primarily in common
stocks and securities convertible into common stocks of companies
with market capitalization of at least $100 million which the Advisor
believes pay above average dividends or interest. This fund is designed
for investors who seek capital appreciation with current income
as a secondary objective, and who are looking to add a growth component
to their portfolio. This fund is managed by Ralph
C. Shive, CFA.
Income Fund
The Monogram Income Fund (FMEQX) normally invests at least 65% of
its total assets in debt securities of all types, including high
grade corporate bonds and U.S. Government bonds. This fund is designed
for investors who are looking for potential monthly income and who
want a portfolio with a more conservative approach than is typical
with equity funds. This fund is managed by Paul
W. Gifford, Jr., CFA.
Long/Short Fund
The Monogram Long/Short Fund (FMLSX) invests primarily in common
stocks by maintaining both long equity positions and short equity
positions. The fund normally purchases common stocks ("long" equity
positions) of U.S. traded companies that the Advisor has identified
as undervalued and sells short those stocks ("short" equity
positions) that the Advisor has identified as overvalued. The fund
can make investments within any market sector and in any company
that has a public market capitalization of at least $100 million.
