Qualifications for this position include:
- Tax preparation experience
of fiduciary income returns (Form 1041) and individual income returns
(Form 1040)
- Strong Accounting
skills
- Word, Excel and
Tax software experience; Fasttax software experience preferred
- Written and verbal
communication skills
- Preferred experience
in estate tax return and non-profit tax return preparation, Trust
experience and payroll information reporting
Typical Duties include:
- Preparation of income
and estate tax returns
- Disburse customer estimates,
fees, taxes through Metavante Trust system
- Maintain spreadsheets
for tracking and reports
- Handle electronic file
individual income tax returns
- IRS and state correspondence
- Work with Trust Officers
regarding tax issues of clients
- Additional responsibilities
as requested
